Wild Greens Portugal
The most basic wild greens that we all have that you can add to your salad

Your guide will be Raquel Perdigão, who is Portuguese, and instruction will be in both English and Portuguese. She is a co-creator of the Awakened Life Project (ALP) and founder of the brand ‘Awakened Body’. After 9 years of working as a water and food microbiologist, she founded and directed the Environmental Education Centre in Gaia for 5 years. Aspiring for a more “real” life, she left a 13-year stable job to learn and practice energetic therapies, to dedicate herself to herbalism and the study of crystals whilst volunteering in projects in Portugal.  Passionate about people, nature and body practice, she dedicates her life to explore and support the awakening process in people that come to ALP. She facilitates nature immersion intensives, sustainability courses, creates natural cosmetics and medicinal products and teaches yoga.

Greens in Portugal
A harvest last week at Keela Yoga Farm
This workshop is going to be fun, practical and an inspiring journey exploring the world of wild greens.
If you feel a yes, then come with me in this green journey!
Kimberly and Laurence have both stayed at the Awakened Life Project. During their stay they learnt about foraging for wild greens as that was the main ingredient in the salads each day! At ALP, they have no need to grow lettuce or other salads due to an abundance of wild greens around their land and woodlands. Raquel has a great deal of knowledge and experience on medicinal herbs, making soaps and wild plants and is an excellent teacher.
